During treatment for fertility, your fertility consultant may advice you tubal patency testing. It can be done by Saline Salphingography. It is done Short General Anesthesia - it takes 10-15 mins.
Normal Saline is pushed through cervix with the help of foley's catheter no-8 or SSG canula. Flow of Saline from Uterine cavity and both fallopian tubes is observed using sonography.
It is day care procedure. We can diagnose whether tubes are patent or blocked.
It is very safe and reliable test for tubal testing.
